Marco is an undergraduate student of Neuroscience at the University of Toronto. He has experience in Machine Learning research for brain related data at the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence and the Krembil Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases. His interest in computer vision and artificial intelligence began under Lieutenant Kieren Lovell at the University of Cambridge in which he was tasked to create a repurposable framework for optical character recognition; this paradigm, imagineOCR, is now in active development by Cambridge University Library.
