Neurescence, the leading optical imaging company for understanding short and long-range brain circuits, announced today that Roshni Christo, Ph.D., has joined the team as Field Application Scientist.

Dr. Christo has been instrumental in designing fluorescent constructs which tags individual dendritic spines as they undergo plasticity. Her research focussed on neurodegenerative diseases using molecular techniques and live animal imaging.

Dr. Christo conducted research at the Neuroscience Department at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, from 2016 till 2020. Her research resulted into 5 publications, 3 collaborative grants and a total of $2.5M funding. Dr. Christo received her Ph.D. from the Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2014 with distinction. Her research was on Dopamine receptor functional regulation in neonatal hypoglycemia.
