Dr. Yeseul Lee obtained her Ph.D. in physiology, pharmacology and neuroscience from the University of Bristol, UK and her MSc in the brain and cognitive sciences from Seoul National University, Korea. She came to Canada and completed postdoctoral training at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto.

Dr. Lee’s interest in neuroscience was sparked by a childhood memory, in which she found herself trying to answer a long-held question, ‘why do certain memory last longer than others?’. During her study, she focused on restoring cognitive impairments and memory deficits found in neurological disorders such as PTSD, anxiety disorder, autism and GRIN1 disorder.

With her expertise and experiences in neuroscience, she hopes to help other neuroscientists advance their research more quickly and efficiently with Neurescence’s technology.
